Winslow schools do not have the best rep. I grew up in Sicklerville but it's nothing like it was. There is definitely some crime, nothing like Camden or anything but I wouldn't leave my doors unlocked. I do have nieces who live in Williamstown (next to Sicklerville) and love it there, despite the school's rep (actually one of them is a teacher there).
Since this area is considered a suburb of Philly than NY, you might get more responses on the sub-forum "NJ suburbs of Philadelphia", found at the top of the main NJ forum.
Better to post on the South Jersey subforum, but in general Sicklerville/Winslow Twp. is not known for it's school system, in fact, the schools are pretty poor overall. You get a lot of house for your money, but that's really about it.
What is your budget (house and taxes) and needs/wants in a town? Where are you working (general area) and how much of a commute can you tolerate. Post your question on the South Jersey subforum with answers to those questions and the folks over there will gladly give you some ideas of where to look.
Found some beautiful houses in Sicklerville. Great prices, but high taxes. Safe town? How are the schools? I have one child with special needs.
If you have a child with special needs, I would definitely not consider Sicklerville. I have a client there who needed to sue the district over their lack of accomodations. (My client has a traumatic brain injury).
Wow so glad I posted here thank you very much for your responses.
