I'm moving to the west side of Nashua next month and I'm looking for some advice on my daily commute to Boston. I currently live south shore MA and have used the commuter rail for years to get to and from work. It gets the job done anyway.
Things I know:
* Lowell line
* wife would have to drop me off currently, only have one car.
* might purchase 2nd vehicle (or even moped to avoid parking costs)
* lowell's schedule is lacking. Our office hours are 10am-6pm. Could hit Lawrence too when necessary, but it's farther and would suck if I already parked at Lowell. Or the extra long round trip for my wife to pick me up.
Things I'd like to know:
* Does Nashua offer any public transpo to Lowell?
* Anyone know of any rideshare type options?
I *really* hate driving in traffic, so even if I get another car I seriously doubt I'll drive it to Boston each day, then pay $250 a mo for parking near the office, so the T is really my only option.
Or perhaps there's a bus that runs from somewhere near Nashua all the way to Btown?
