In case you haven't heard, Jeb Bradley, the "wholly owned subsidiary" of PSNH of CT, immortalized himself in NH politics with the "Bradley Maneuver" where after telling those who had taken the day off from work and driven hours to Concord with their prepared testimony for a hearing on a one year moratorium on wind projects and transmission lines that there wasn't time to listen to them and that they should submit their written testimony to the committee because they had other issues to deal with - they closed the hearing on SB99 and moved on. After people submitted their written testimony to the committee and left, Jeb Bradley brought the bill back and stripped out the part relating to "transmission lines" - ie: no. pass and then passed the bill without even reading the written testimony. Senator Jeannie Forrester who has been a shining star from the get go is proposing an amendment to put the "transmission lines" back in the bill and force the Senate to vote on the matter so we'll see who stands where. Please find a minute to shoot a quick email to your Senator and Reps. or copy it to all of them to let them know where NH stands on no. pass. They rely on public comments to justify their positions so lets give them some. It doesn't have to be long or complicated, just short and to the point - "We need a one year moratorium on transmission lines in NH." This will give the state some breathing room to develop a much needed comprehensive energy policy like other states that have protected themselves from these predatory developers who are seeking to exploit our lack of regulation here in NH. Thanks for helping out. If you are understandably outraged by the "Bradley Maneuver" - as most are and should be - feel free to make that known as well.

Thanks for letting us know, GH. I saw an article recently that quoted some NP rep as saying they'd submitted a new proposed route and felt confident that the project would go ahead (paraphrasing). I checked the LiveFreeOrFry site for the new route map, but got a 404 error on the map link.
