Thanks PS.

My wife and I are really looking forward to the move. My 4yr old son is excited by the new "adventure" too.

I come down for training the week of the 25th and I hope I get some time to look around.

Thanks for your input.

You've got it right, Woof ...it's what you make of it. And as PinkString implied, there's a heck of a lot of folks who chose to relocate to the LV area and are doing just fine.

I came from the Seattle area because I wanted to be in a drier climate. Although I'm not in LV proper, I know many of my friends and co-workers that once lived in the Seattle area who chose to move to LV and they love it. I get criticized over on the Washington forum for bashing Seattle. I don't necessarily hate Seattle but chose to move to Nevada, and I always give my reasons (there were 3) why I chose to relocate to Nevada.

You have a good attitude, Woof. And you'll do just fine in sin city. Good luck and stay in touch.

Thank you for your post, I will be moving to Northern Nevada vs Southern but it does seem to be more negative post than positive. I look forward to my move along with my husband we both feel that it will open up a whole new world to us and to be on the road circuit will be a real plus as we are moving from Alaska as snowbirds.

Wife divorced you here? You had a bad sexual experience here?

Let it hang out...maybe we can find you a way to peace...

None im 17.... My step dad just purchased a track home off of Jones Blvd. and ive been out there watching shows visiting places and other than all the big flashy lights and gambling and sex etc. Vegas is one of the grosest places I've been... It's just a really grose place North Vegas, West Vegas, the only nce places in Vegas that I have seen are those in and near Henderson and out by Red Rock. But thats just my opinion no point of getting all worked up about it

You'll be OK...in a year or so you will be 18 and can return to the Bay area. Step parents can be painful.

Most of the areas along Jones particularly to the north resemble any other middle class burb in the US. No casinos...no flashing lights...actually pretty dull.
