The Reno area and Carson CIty/Minden area are great. I grew up in those areas and loved it! Lake Tahoe is close but you're not stuck with the crowds or the snow and Reno has a lot to offer. The cost of living has gone up since I lived there but it's still decent. You could probably find a job easy. My father worked for "Bently" which is now owned by GE in Minden for 16 years.

I would frown on Henderson, bad pollution. It's a lot bigger city so you probably couldn't find as much land as you wanted and it's a lot hotter.

The nuclear testing was done in the western lower third of the state. I wouldn't even worry about it.

Good luck!

Do you think I could find a lower 20s basque girl working in a brothel in the Elko area? That would be something new I would love to try!

Mound House is best because it has the most brothels, but I hate zoning and I don't know what town has the least zoning, or childfree schools.

A childfree town could have childfree schools which would have no budget and cost no taxes to the childfree taxpayers!

If you had a childfree town, then you wouldn't need schools.

Provincetown MA has only 8% children compared to 25% nationally. But they have uberzoning and so are very expensive and cold and wet.

Sounds like you need to start your own child-free commune Allandi - build a big complex out in the wilderness with high retaining walls and fortifications and keep all the little weasels out Except it wouldn't last long - because you'd all eventually die off and no one would be left to carry the torch. BTW - started working on your manifesto yet?

My suggestion to you is to find a nice little retirement community that doesn't allow kids, relax there, and quit polluting these forums with your political agenda. Thanks!

I was going to throw in my little bit about Dayton being nice -- but it still has a somewhat small town feel. It takes awhile to get used to. And I moved here because I thought that the California influence was NOT going to be here,.....oops, I was wrong. I know people in Dayton though who lead a private life, so it is possible. The golf course is the most gossipy place but has lots of retired folk who are very nice. I have noticed a trend of lots of churchy-Christians moving into Dayton and they sure have some agendas. That is kind of annoying.
