Hi All, Though active in travel forums I am new here but very appreciative of responses I have seen so far. I am in the process of assisting my daughter for her move from the San Francisco area to Nashville where she will be attending Meharry Medical School. Based on my research I have found a few preschools for my grandson who turned 2 this month, however he is wait listed. Does anyone have any suggestions for preschools that may have an immediate opening for his age or a website for me to find additional information for childcare in the area since they are due to arrive next month. Any assitance would be greatly appreciate especially reading about the 6 month old baby that died at that one childcare center in the Nashville area. Have a great Memorial Day weekend. btw Q1 is question 1 because I have more questions to come

One you could check on is Bethlehem Center; it's within a reasonable distance to Meharry.

You could also check the daycare listings on the Nashville Citysearch website.

Baptist Hospital (not too far from Meharry) has a solid daycare program. I am sure some of the other hospitals do as well. Employees get first pickins' but they are also open to the public.

Thank you both so much for your feedback. By the time she finishes Meharry I will be an expert in Nashville childcare - K levels. Then they will all move again for her residency, but hopefully that might be back here in California where I have somewhat of a knowledge base. I am looking forward to all my Nashville visits. Thx again
