Hi, I am looking to relocate, and I need to scope out the gyms. I am looking for the most upscale and all around great gyms with great atmosphere, new building, great childcare and group classes.

Thanks,
Gabriella

I think one of your best options are most any YMCA in the area.

Try Prairie Life in Brentwood. Odd name, nice gym. I go to the Y myself, but PL is showier, has Pilates, etc.

Prairie Life in Franklin is nice...I liked it over the Ys because there weren't unattended kids running all over the place with no knowledge of how to act in public. The Ys down here are nice too but are overrun with kids.

We go to Urban Active. I've never seen a kid there, which is a good thing. It's also a bit more upscale than the Y. Nice equipment, classes and personal training on-site.

The Cool Springs Y doesn't have youth programs so there are very few kids. Just a few babies in the nursery, and that's about it.
