Cheap means different things to different people - can you give an actual price range of what you are willing to spend on rent? Is there anything specific you are looking for?

Default Apartments in the Wilson Elementary School zone

Hi everyone. I am planning a move to Murfreesboro next month with my 2 boys. I will need to rent as I haven't sold my house here in VA yet. I am interested in Wilson Elementary/Seigel Middle & High. I was wondering if anyone knew of any apartment complexes that are in the Wilson Elementary zone. I have looked at the area and the rents are just a bit high for me right now there, although I really like that area. Just wondered if anyone had any info they could share.
Thanks!!

I just want to clarify somethings about the commute from Murfreesboro. Someone said its 20 minutes away. On a good day, you could make it from Murfreesboro to Antioch (which is not quite Nashville, but in Davidson county) in 20 minutes. To get to Downtown on a good day, might take 30-35 minutes. Anywhere else in Nashville could take 45. I've seen traffic from Murfreesboro, headed to Nashville during rush hours- it doesnt look pretty. I wouldnt recommend moving to Murfreesboro, unless you are also working in Murfreesboro, or enjoy wasting your $4.00 a gallon, sitting in traffic on the interstate.
Other then that, Murfreesboro is a safe and afforable place for families.

You hit that dead on. I live in Murfreesboro with my Fiance and he commutes to Antioch to work everyday. I hear some of the stories he tells me about traffic. There was a time when I worked at StoneCrest (Smyrna) and there was traffic backed up and it took me til 9 (I was suppose to be there at 8) to get to work. I sat, no lie, in traffic between Almaville rd and Sam Ridley for an hour! For those who don't know, Smyrna is the next town over from Murfreesboro, then goes La Vergne, Antioch, and so on. The accident was, if I remember right, around Antioch (20 miles or so from Murfreesboro). But don't quote me on that cause it was a long time ago. Other then that, it is a nice place to live. You have lots of shopping and restaurants around you don't have to travel very far.
