Not a lot right now in that price range unless you go closer into Davidson County/Nashville, or further east.

The best way to get something nice in that price range in the Nashville/Franklin/Brentwood areas would be a condo or townhome. Most will be under 1,500 square feet.

That is primarily the investor price range in the Nashville metro, and anything remotely decent gets snapped up pretty quick. There are always a few single-family homes available, but yours is a VERY competitive price range.

You may be able to find something in the outer, more rural counties, but it would be a dramatic lifestyle shift.

You should use the local MLS website to search:

From the home page, once you select a housing catagory, select "Advanced Search" at the top. It has more specific search fields.

these are nice but we absolutely do not want to pay assoc. fees. i guess we'll have to look elsewhere because we would rather have a house than a condo or townhouse where we have to pay fees like that. thanks for the links though!
