Sorry for a lot of background info but I think it helps ...Ok I’m from New York City. Queens. Spent most my time in Williamsburg brooklyn and I love the city. However the high rent and stress drove me out because I wanted to be able to focus on school and finish my nursing degree.

That's doable but harder to find in Nashville, where the average rent for a 1-bedroom (less than 900 sq feet) is just over $1400/month.

Nashville has about 1.2 million (this number includes surrounding counties). I've heard people say Nashville is like the biggest small town you've ever been in.
