In case some of you new arrivals were not aware of it, Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art offers a number of classes and workshops for both adults and children. There are summer camps for children of various ages.

This is a link if you're interested: Education :: Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art, Nashville, TN

By the way, it's a nice place to visit, especially in the spring. And the first person to ask gets free admission tickets (that is, if I can find them).

I shall find them . . . it just means moving a small mountain of books, papers and magazines.

The Frist Center also has children's art stuff, as do some of the Metro Parks (Centennial is the main one, I think).

They're about equal. Both Centennial Park and the Frist are near Vanderbilt. Cheekwood is in Belle Meade (just down the street from Al Gore's house! ;-)
