Do a web search for "heirloom tomatoes" or for "heirloom plants" and you'll get lots of hits. You should get plenty of sites for a "Tennessee heirloom plants" search.

But, I do like the idea of buying local or buying Tennessee! (Please note Draper Davis' area code...)

Heirloom tomato plants for the 2010 season will be available from Love Valley Farm beginning May 1st 2010. Pick up at the farm in Smithville or at Lenox Village Farmers Market in South Nashville. Call (615)464-0775 to reserve your plants or specific produce for the season. Will also grow Heirloom tomatoes to order. Up to 600 varieties available if enough time is given, Cherokee Purple and German Giant Pink are definitely available. My favorites are the Paul Robeson, Brandywine Pink, Hillbilly, and Black Seaman. Looking forward to another great season in 2010!

Does anyone know who would carry these heirloom tomato plants? I don't want to start them from seed.
You can buy both these seeds at seedsaver.com

There is a wonderful garden center on Eaton's Creek Pk. (White's Creek) - Flowers - they carry a wide variety of heirloom plants. Cherokee purple is typically not ready until later in the month of April; but, is well worth the wait! Also, try their yellow pear tomatoes...small cherry sized yellow tomatoes that are loved by all!
