¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Come here for the entire month of August, and then let's talk numbers.

Summer in TN v. Hawaii - Much worse in TN since it is way hotter. I spent years going to Hawaii every year (and racing over there too) and yes, it's humid but you often have the trades blowing so it doesn't feel that bad. Here can be stifling.

The other thing many people do not consider is that if you have any hint of allergies or asthma, they will likely be very much worse in Middle TN. Very much worse.

Also, I don't know any HVAC company who will allow an employee to take off right at the busiest time of the year for us in the south.
No luck passing the test yet. Too busy in the past year as president of the Twin Tiers ASHRAE Chapter. This year I'm taking a FE Prep course here at Cornell this spring to go at it again. I guess I'm an engineer in the sense that I can do the job from soup to nuts, just not there as a PM w/ PE yet. I have 19 LEED registered jobs, 3 of which are certified Silver for DOD, Air Force, and State Univ of NY. And last month worked on Aecosim, AutoCAD, and Revit each and every day. Someday I will pass the written portion of my job description ;-) just need to stop working OT.

What does "the political climate is too extreme" in Charlotte mean?

I'd be concerned that with your budget you'd have to live pretty far away from the things that make Nashville special. And from the heart hospital??? Is this a place you'd need to go in an emergency?

What other cities have the healthcare facilities you need?
