Sounds like it was a good move in spite of the rain. Interesting to hear the Broadway business owners' perspective that it was a better situation for them. I actually bet the rain helped steer people that direction than the Mall. Easier to jump in and out of bars in the rain than stand there for a couple hours at the Mall.

Either way...good I guess. Sounds like they'll do it there next year if the State allows it. I'll stay at home or head out of town again.

The bars on Broadway were able to charge a $20-30 cover charge.

So arrests were down. I guess that's a good thing, if that's how they measure safety. The article also says it felt like people could move around more, which is another safety measure. I know the state park rangers for Bicentennial Mall are super concerned about the grass growing back, but it doesn't look like it was a widespread mess. The rain was probably the biggest problem there.

Sounds like they probably will keep it at the new location and hope for better weather next year. Keith Urban did sound good on TV.
