Advice needed folks!
I recently moved to Murfreesboro and am looking for some fun nightlife places to check out. I'm a young professional freshly out of college still looking to have some fun on Friday/Saturday nights.
I don't mind driving a little ways for a fun time and I know Nashville is fairly close but I would love some suggestions for local places to catch a cab so when friends visit we can all enjoy ourselves without needing a DD. What are some of the better bars or any place really that offers a fun time in Murfreesboro?
Thanks a lot in advance!

The best place to go would probably be to some of the bars around the square. That is where the majority of Murfreesboro's nightlife is concentrated. Of course, there are other places scattered around town as well you might want to try such as Bar Louie at the Avenue and the taproom at May Day Brewery.

Sam's Sports Grille is nice and has really good food but I'm not sure if it would be considered a cool social life destination or not.

Thanks guys!
I've heard good things about the taproom. Do many of the bars offer live music venues? I heard about the cigar bar but tons of smoke is not my field scene. Also, what bars would you all recommend around the square?

I heard about Tempt, seems cool. I think it's on the square also. I haven't been.
We should go. I haven't partied much since moving here.
