Hello - We are relocating to Nashville with 2 young children and will be living in Antioch. I've read a lot on these forums that warn families of this area, but this is a done deal. What I am looking for is input on schools. We will be on the east side of Antioch, near the lake and are considering Donelson Christian, Ezell-Harding, Mount Juliet Christian as well as possible publics that we could be "lotteried" into. Reviews seem mixed across the board, and I would appreciate any local insight or other suggestions. We have to choose something!

From what I hear Ezell-Harding is good and right in Antioch not far from the lake, and there is also Light House Christian School which is on the other side of Antioch. As far as public I have more experience in this area than I do private, but the zoned elementary schools on the lake side are Lakeview, Thomas Edison, Mt. View and a new elementary planned to be built in the next year or so to relieve overcrowding, which is an issue in every Antioch area school. Cane Ridge elementary and A.Z. Kelley are in the Cane Ridge zone but not far from the lake area. The schools in area are pretty good, not the best, but far from the worst, they share the same variables as the majority of the other Metro Nashville public schools.
