Does anyone know of places in the Murfreesboro/Smyrna area that still has Angel tree available or a similar program? Or rec a local charity that is great for donating. I'm late on my game this year! Thanks!

The Angel Tree deadline was 12/9.

You can call them and see if you can donate in other ways, or if they have any "leftovers" that did not get chosen.

You might also call some large local churches, foster agencies, and maybe the school board to see if they have non-Salvation Army angels available. Our church, for example, is partnering with a local school to sponsor several angels. Another option might be to contact a Rotary group...they often do service projects like that each year too.

Kroger grocery stores have "Forgotten Angel" trees I think? You pick a family from the tree and pay $25 and they get a Christmas dinner?

I meant to do the Angel tree, also, but was at Green Hills when I saw it and the gifts HAD to be returned to THAT location and I didn't want to go back there before Christmas. At least at Cool Springs I know some back ways around the traffic.

There's always the Salvation Army guys . . . (and gals).

Happy Holidays!
