Yay!!

I remember being more excited about this than Signature Tower back in 2006/2007 when I still lived in Nashville. I think that the WES is perfectly placed in Nashville for skyline expansion of Downtown into Midtown.

It's also looking like the Summit might include a hotel after all.

For those unfamiliar with the WES site, it is the giant block-long hole that's been on West End Avenue since '07. The towers will be on the block in front of the Shell in the photo below dominating the right view from that angle. It hasn't been announced whether some height will be added to one of the towers for the hotel yet.

The proposed East-West Connector BRT line will also run through this stretch. I believe being able to show the Feds all the current growth along this line will really help our chances of landing federal funding.
