It looks like a move to Nville area is on the horizon for us. My husband will be working at the Nashville Airport, working 7am-3pm, M-F. We have been living in the marvelous city of Oklahoma City which has the most fabulous quality of life. I hate having to leave it. Any suggestions on what areas outside Nville metro would also offer a nice quality of life, with the least amount of daily traffic hastles. In OKC, $225,000 buys 2300 sq. ft. with 10ft. ceilings, 3 car garage, granite counters, 18" tile, and almost an acre of ground. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kids are in college so schools are not a factor.

I would probably start looking down the I-24 or I-40 corridor. That would include LaVergne, Smyrna, Murfreesboro, Mt. Juliet, and maybe Lebanon. Most of these are pretty nice areas and the commute to the airport wouldn't be too bad and they are not the most expensive areas so $225k would probably buy a fairly nice house (although maybe not quite as nice as the one you mentioned).
