Hi there, I have a job interview with Asurion on Monday ... I currently live in Northern VA and they apparently have a good relocation package. I am just curious if anybody has ever worked there or has any opinions of the company. I am working through a recruiter and I know sometimes they will say anything to get someone hired.

Their benefits package seems a bit odd, so I was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts about this company or the area in which the company is in? Is it in a good area... what would be the best place to live for a decent commute to the company.

Thanks in advance!

Can't speak for the benefits/relocation package but I know several who work there in many different areas and all have nothing but good things to say about the company.

I'm out of state and I just applied for a position with Asurion. Are you able to describe (or PM me) the benefits they have available? Thank You

Thanks for the replies... we'll see how it goes. I'm a little weary cause the recruiter is submitting me at a six figure salary and its 5k over their max range but they said anyone who makes over 100k has to pass some wierd critical thinking test...

I wish I had applied directly through them cause I really hate recruiters.

You're welcome....they moved my interview to this afternoon... so I'm still waiting on pins and needles.

I'm told I'm going to be grilled with technical questions ... I don't mind technical interviews but I hate when they just start pulling out the textbooks and asking you test questions.

FWIW, my only experience with Asurion was as a customer that's too a few years back. Like rooney003 said, I had insurance on my mobile phone through T-Mobile and lost it once. For sure Asurion honored the insurance without any BS and gave a good customer service.

Be sure to ask them what their turn over rate is. I have heard it's really a churn and burn type of place but it probably depends on what department you work in. But be sure you ask what the turn over is in the department you'd be working in.
