I believe Marshalls will do good business. Right now, you have to go to Rivergate to TJ Maxx for that type of store. I thought one of those would do real good in indian lake blvd but this will do.

The Dunkin Donuts opened this morning (at least it was the first time I saw them with the lights on) on Indian Lake next to Taco Bell in that new strip. They'll do well there. Until Krispy Kreme comes in!

I think a Sears could have worked there, with a remodeled store, top to bottom, not just taking up KMart's rundown space.

Marshalls is ok. I'm not familiar with Sprouts.

It isn't doing well, but IMO they should have closed the outlet, and converted KMart to Sears years ago. They are the same company.

Penneys several years ago signed a letter of intent to come to town. Like Sears, Mens clothes is a big draw for JCP, so it would stand to reason that market is available. Mens clothing..cheaper than Joseph A Banks.

I suspect if JCP sensed a market than a similar chain could fill the same void.

Given how weak KMart was, if we add Sears clothing sales edge, tools sales edge, appliance sales edge, why they didn't convert this albatross IMO was sheer stupidity.

SO excited about the Sprouts coming in. My family lives in CA and they all rave about that store. It's relatively inexpensive for organic from what they've told me.
