Okay, taking the granddaughter to see Taylor Swift at Bridgestone for a 7:30 concert tonight and I am not a frequent concert-goer so we need advice from previous concert goers.....how much time in advance should we allow ourselves to drive from the Goodlettsville/Hendersonville area to get there without having to run or be late? General parking is already purchased for Pinnacle parking, but we have a disagreement on how much time to allow ourselves. Can anyone give sound advice?

You mean you haven't left yet??!!!!!!

Sorry, just messing' with you.

Good for you for taking her to see something she will always remember. I tend to be on the early side, so I would leave your house at 5. There is plenty to walk around and look at down there to kill time. Then I would be in my seat around 7:10.

Don't scare me like that! Yeah, she is on Cloud 9. I'm taking her and her mom, who is 30, (and a procastinator), and doesn't want to leave before 6. I think that will be pushing it too much.

Thanks!

Well, 5 is way early for some, but yes, 6 would make me nervous.

Have fun! At least the weather will be great!

I wouldn't bother leaving until 6. I've never been to a concert at the Bridgestone arena where the main act started before 8:30

From what I understand this is like a dress rehearsal for her summer tour concert. I am guessing there might not BE an opening act. I'm all for leaving early . . . . Hang around the tour bus area? Go down to that Saloon place (Wildhorse?) and learn some line dancing!

CountryGirl, I was told the same thing yesterday. I was thinking there may not be an opener too. The floor is GA so I don't know whether they will be standing or sitting, but we got seats a little further back to make sure a 7 year old will be able to see.

I guess my real question should have been how long will it take me to get out of the Pinnacle parking garage afterwards. An hour and a half.....ridiculous.
