Hi,

I am interested in advice for finding classy, young professional areas in nashville. I need to book a hotel close the area that is not too college growd or touristy.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Where is there a hotel close distance to all nightlife and great local spots, so I can get a local idea of the city as well?

Thanks You!!

Once M Street fully develops, I expect it to be the hottest area in town.

^I'm so happy to see the development they're doing over there, it's definitely going to be nice!

If it weren't for the economic slowdown, I think the Gulch would be really taking off by now. It still might, eventually, but the condo boom as we know it is over.

Some day I wish to see a thriving residential/retail/entertainment district that extends from SoBro, through the Gulch, and even spilling over towards Music Row. Still a bit of infill/redevelopment to do, but I see potential.

Not sure what happens on West End when there are no Vandy games. The area seems to draw more football fans than BK or BB in season. It is a little away from the downtown nitelife. The charm may be to check out & enjoy art & craft fairs at Centennial Park. It is also the start to the Music City Marathon. The main area for some nitelife is over on Elliston Place about 1 block off West End.
