1989, Biz Markie's "Just a Friend". His singing is sort of like watching a multi-car wreck; you may be disturbed or repulsed but can't look away.

My favorite track on an album that took two years and hundreds of hours in the studio to make. I used it, along with "Aja", as a demo when I was installing car stereos. "Glamour Profession", Steely Dan, from 1980's Gaucho.

Default Sandy Stewart

Time for a Sandy Stewart song about a conflict she had with a well known female artist about a song Sandy wrote. The male/female difficulties portrayed in the video was a story created to bury the truth about this song. The lyrics fit many relationships. Feel free to repost and share if others will enjoy the work of all involved.

Want to know who the female superstar was? Listen to tge backing vocals. She sang on the recording.

The powerful background vocal you hear is Helen Terry. A few years earlier she was one of the "do-do-do do-do-do-do..." vocalists in Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side".
