One of my absolute favorites, this can make me smile and laugh every time I see it. Back when this showed up on MTV, I still didn't have a VCR. There were some videos I loved watching but never knew when they'd show up. I was working night shift to save money to go back to college. I would come home soooo tired, really exhausted, and switch on MTV instead of getting some sleep (which was possible but not really likely during the day, to be truthful). I would sit there hypnotized by the endless parade of wonderful videos and the songs they interpreted, plus the great VJs. THIS was my delight every time!
"Feet don't fail me now! Please do not keep me where I should not be!" It's a breakup song, but those bugs are just so doggone funny=} I loved that this was by the guy who previously gave us "We Gotta Get You a Woman". "Leroy, boy, is that you?" My sister's best friend met a guy that she practically fell in love with at first sight, a very nice boy she ended up marrying. Before she told her friends his name, she begged them to not laugh. Why? His name was Leroy, pronounced Leeroy, just as in the song. Did her friends tease her? You bet! *sigh* Oh, the cruelty of youth. *snicker*
