Hmmm. And what kind of person did you learn that she was?
An utter egoist, the diva type that thinks she is the center of the universe...
Some say that made the Supremes break up, and drove one of the Supremes into a downward spiral leading to her early death.

I have never read anything like that before... therefore, I have to say that Diana is still my Boo.
Unless of course, you can provide me with a link to an article about this from a reliable source.
Thanks for that, Neuling. However, with me, I like to see both sides of a story, therefore, I looked up information from Diana Ross' point of view and found this video:
Also, I liked the point about how she was blamed for the Supremes' name change to Diana Ross and the Supremes, but compared that to Motown's standard group name change such as with Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. But which shows to me how easy it is for someone to misplace the blame about something and then take it and run with it.
But I also found this... which appears to be a 'neutral' third party point of view, and watched the entire 1 hour and 27 minutes of it last night.
But it seems like an honest and balanced portrayal of events and information about Diana Ross and the Supremes. Plus, from what I could see, Florence Ballard seemed to be a self-absorbed overly sensitive and overly emotional person who couldn't deal with the realities of show business. And which to me, negated all this business that Diana Ross 'caused' the death of Florence Ballard.
And yes, Diana was far from perfect, but who isn't? However, in my opinion, that doesn't justify the rumors and information that got twisted and became fictional incidents and urban rumors. Such as the rumor that Diana Ross 'shoved' Mary Wilson during the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television event.
However, I know that people will form their opinions and will see things the way that they see things, however, for me, the E! True Hollywood Story video was sufficient for me to form my opinion about Diana Ross... and as a result, allows me to still respect her and to still enjoy her music.

I can't watch the long video since I am on a mobile connection.
I never liked Ross, though, and the short video confirms my view. There is something rather fake about her, reminds me of Hillary Clinton Plus, she has a mean cat face
Even when I bought the Swept Away album, I already didn't like her irritating voice, but the music and production (Chic, Hall & Oates) of some of the tunes on that album were cool. But that was before the Internet, so I had not heard of her behavior, yet, else I would not have bought the album as I don't support people with bloated egos.
I didn't like the Supremes, either, most early Motown music sounded all the same to me. Funny how off she sang on that live version of 'Ain't no mountain high enough' in the short video at 1:27
Well, I suppose we will never know exactly what went on back then. But as they say, where there is smoke, there is fire

Point taken. Also, as I had said, I know that Diana Ross was far from perfect, however, people often times change with time and become mellower. Also, this video demonstrates that.
