... rushing in ... dropping suitcaes on bench... smiling... see fireplace crackling and inviting... Mr. JazzLover! just arrived home from a whirlwind weekend... unexpectedly friends came along to "rescue" me from the nervous time babysitting foo foo... ah! feels great to be home indeed!
Believe this one thought of Thee and the girls and all that was missing... though kept a brave face in all of the excitement of being pampered by friends... enjoying the luxurious world of fruit trees in bloom and spring flowers... truly feel so rushed and saddened... kept thinking poor Mr. JazzLover who is probably worried about the girls... this one is so sorry that so much time has passed since Thy many wonderous postings!
could nay even have time to write about the girls ... nay even time to really see and feel them... feeling a bit jealous of all who have had three Jazz "shows" to indulge in and enjoy... feeling as if all have had dessert with extras! truly this one WAS jealous... others have computers that travel and can speak any time... this one is more limited.
and now must also tell Thee this weekend was completely unexpected... was away from the house when the surprise was sprung... they truly outdid themselves in creating a luxury fantasy weekend ... they had soooo much fun... and this one was not fully present because mind kept coming back to this place of feelings... can nay believe it was so important ... pleasant surprise to find out how meaningful and important tis is...
truly a blessing!
and must also say... this week helping out at a school... with their special spring events... so will nay have much free time...but shall read and try to keep up with Thy shows... and will take time with the ones already given...

Mr MMC Sir, the day has finally came when Mommy
Mabel returns on the train ... she planned to be waiting
at the station for us...
... as these days have gone by, this one has become
absolutelty fond of this ugly little puppy... cannot believe it!
... taking yarns and needles out of trunk... have fashioned
a darling little sweater for foo foo... with a ruffle round her
tiny neck.. and a big shiney button on the side - playing the
role of jewelry and fastener..
now it may be only this one's imagination... but certainly
seems that little foo foo LOVES her new clothes.. giggles...
she runs round to the mirror that is closest to the floor l
evel... half hops half scrambles... little rump working hard
as feet scrape edge of footstool.. scuffle scuffle... and
she gets a back leg up... then crawls forward until she is
on top of the footstool - her platform for beauty pageant..
this one can nay kid about this... foo foo appears to do
a sort of fashion parade across the footstool ... looking in
the mirror at all times... then she bends this way and that way...
admiring her image all round..
tis almost too funny to be true... but tis the real truth Sir...
she is a fashionista of the highest degree... why this one
believesshe would pick out her own patterns and colors
if given a chance...
well... the morning came at last when the train was due...
packing all of foo foo's equipment and accessories in a small
suitcase... tried to coax her into a travel basket... she would
nay go! she crawled under the bed and hid!
well this exasperating turn of events... did she think she
could become a full time guest?
I knelt down and picked under the coverlet.. there she
stood -- little lumpy head tilted... eyes rolling and unfocused...
tongue lolling.. and with a tiny growling bark she remarked
on her plight...
truly this one's heart fell Sir, this fondness has not grown
to full blown love.. truly was looking forward to a home of
peaceful lack of doginess...as let go full exhausted breath..
peeked under again and then ...
realized that she had spoken...
true! nay like the kitten at play group, but in her own manner..
and what she was telling was there was a small toy that
had been left under the bed...
nearly fell over self laughing Sir.... Thee can imagine....
with relief and happiness... tugged the toy out and placed
it in the little basket.. whereupon foo foo happily
climbed in also...
our parade then set out for the train station... but about
half way there... saw Mabel's tiny yellow car coming our way...
honking and waving we all turned into the parking lot of
the neighborhood park...
foo foo was wagging so excitedly she knocked her basket down
and so it happened when Mabel came over to our vehicle,
she did nay see her pup... her face was a tragedy of
dissapointment and concern...but soon the little one scrambled
out from her basket accident and leaped... or more like flew
into her mommy's arms...
such a kissing and licking Thee can understand took longer
than a minute... soft laugh...now reunited...seemed as if
whimper and smoochy noises are a way of talking tween
foo foo and Mabel...
after a time... Mabel greeted this one and asked if all had
been pleasant... Bless this one Sir for there was a tiny
exaggeration in reporting... all was fine! had a grand time!
wonderful puppy!
as if this were too much human talk.. foo foo gave a
pushing leap to the ground where ... honest Sir...
as this one is known to be a truth sayer... she did her fashion walk!
... and totally surprising was Mommy Mabel's reaction...
she clapped and cheered.. and the puppy preened and posed...
showing off new sweater and her total look...
her mommy was delighted and praised both foo foo
and this one for the outfit...
... happily ever after... Mabel and foo foo have gone off
to their next destination ... and this one is considering
a vow to knit only large items for a while... gently laughing..
though it was quite a time... truly there was much learning
and delight... mixed of course with astonishment and disbelief...
but just think... would nay have known about the
talking of animals so much had nay met with that kitten...
would nay have seen a huge heart of courage in a tiny pup
against the squirrel.. and seen the beauty within her heart...
indeed miss foo foo has been a good chapter in this
adventure called life!
.... sets pen aside... considers the little photo of foo foo
that was given as a memento...
This clip starts too late, but... this opening made me fall in love with the movies - made me want to make them. (This whole film did!)
:: have some time since "our" plane doesn't land for another hour... scoots over next to Ms' Delusianne ... lays back with arm behind head... digging fingers in the pop corn bowl 'tween us... turns and smiles ::
You know.. I always wanted to make movies too! Fall in love... aaaaaaa..... let's watch it!
:: whispers as we watch :: now that sets a good tone... a semi close-up on the man who isn't relax in bed, we feel his tension so now we're immediately tense... the music gives us a time period... we cut from him to nothing... good good.. now we're drawn in... suddenly a camera is facing us... we squint... okay okay will be quiet... :: soft laughter... ::
:: points to the screen :: see see now that has always fascinated me... to have the audience watch a film within a film... we're slightly detached that way... so again we're now drawn in because it seems safe to be curious...
curious about that man in the film of a film... we watch him closer... ahhh now look... he's relax and there's others also relax... arms around each other... all men so we know now that its a club or fraternity but these men are older... we examine their dress... suits... now we see a baby in a christening dress... so we think... ahhh we're watching a home movie... and at that point, the audience has moved from detachment to involvement...
we have made them feel this intimacy thru keeping the image small on the screen... and the room in the screen dark... and the baby there... so soft feelings we've created... the baby being readied for a holy moment...
now intimate moments between family members because they are so comfortable with one another... eating cake... celebrating... tho one man remains slightly aloof... eyes serious into the camera... for the first time we are aware of the person taking these shots... because of the way the man is looking into the camera... or is the man studying the one taking the shots...
:: fingers scoot in pop corn bowl for more pop corn... looks up suddenly in surprise :: hey... where is the pop corn bo....
:: turns attention quickly to screen:: ... now we see this same man shaking the Father's hand... again... wait where is the pop-corn... :: getting distracted ::
and look now the parade draws us into the film fully... no more small detachment... also the song is about ending... so wonderful! We made the audience feel like they are part of the family by playing the complete song while all this was done...

Um, when I was 16 years old, I changed the lyrics from "sitting downtown in a railway station" to: "...sitting upstairs in Bryan's bedrom..." Uh yeah, for no reason - no reason at all!
