I just thought Heavy was cool period plus he was cute for a big guy with that wavy hair. I haven't seen him since he did a couple of cameos on Living Single back in the day. But MC Hammer was here performing last weekend - as much as I tried to downplay my excitement I won't even act like I wasn't dancing my ass off when he closed the concert with Can't Touch This don't even act like you aint like this song back in the day.

Awww I liked the thick Heavy, but he still cute. I don't really like reggae cause I'm not coordinated enough to dance to it i will listen to Sean Paul when I'm home alone and no one can see me though. Shhhh!

The first time i ever heard this song was when I watched the movie Brown Sugar - didn't care for the movie but I liked the song. Up until then I'd thought Common was a "new" rapper cause the only song I'd ever heard by him was the one with him and Mary J Blige. I know I know how can I claim I love rap when I hadn't heard of Common until like 2001? Don't throw anything at me This song was hot though - I love rap love songs.
Come Close was THEE jam. Yeah Common's been around for a while. Even had a little small beef with Ice Cube back in the mid 90s but Common squashed that with a song and a title I will not mention on here.
