I don't know. I'm enjoying 808s and Heartbreak.

To each his own, I personally didn't like it too much though. Just thought it was really underproduced for Kanye and lyrics were a little on the simple side n a little pop-ish for my taste. But I never liked auto-tune to begin with, so that's just me.

Lyrics on the simple side? Come on, you may not like auto-tone, but Kanye's new CD has some deep lyrics. Go listen to "Welcome to Heartbreak" and "Street Lights".

808's is one of the worst, most pathetic, most disgustingly sell-out albums I've ever heard.

See, I don't understand why people call it a sellout album. How is Kanye selling out? He's certainly not hurting for money. He could've easily put out another Graduation style album and it would probably sell alot more than this one will. He didn't have to do 808's at all. It's something he clearly wanted to do. Even if the vocoder is the "in thing" - Kanye has never claimed to be immune to what's popular. He's a slave to fashion, after all.

lol, that's one way to put it.

But if u listen to the lyrics through alot of songs, he'll repeat the same phrase over and over and over again, and not just like a hook like in some rap songs, but through like 2/3 of the song. It just really got on my nerves and the album really felt like he coulda put a lot more effort into it. I think it's more of a love it or hate it type thing though.

Because he's completely alienate his 'fans'. This auto-tune BS came out of nowhere, and is completely different from his other 'music', not to mention it's not rap. It could also be the fact that the guy claimed to be one of the most important people in history, and musically above some of the greats. He's the biggest joke in the entertainment industry, and that's saying a lot...

Well, I know people in Chicago, and they are in love with Kanye and this new album. I don't see how he is selling out there. It's not like going autotone would make him sell more records or something. He isn't selling out.
