Tom is pushing 70 years old but that doesn't slow him down. In the early 90's he put out his Reloaded cd, covering standards with a variety of recording stars. I'm a Procol Harum fan, and was surprised to hear him on lead vocals on the hit "Simple Sister" from Procols The Long Goodbye, from '96. Great version! From '65 to '72 he was always on the charts. My favorite songs from him are Thunderball, Love Me Tonight, What's New Pussycat, and It's Not Unusual. Although Detroit City didn't chart well, I liked his version of the Bobby Bare hit.

The man has got pipes!

You should hear him cover Portishead's 'All Mine'.

Sheesh!

Tom Jones is Pure Class. I would only hope that when I'm in my 60s that young women throw their undergarments at me

Old School (sweet-@ss groove on this):

From my senior year in high school - an odd but strangely enjoyable collaboration and a smooth cut:

I wish women would throw their undergarments at me now ...while I can actually respond. When I'm 60 it'll probably be too late and that type of display would just make me sad... reminding me of the unbridled sexual bliss that's forever out of reach. Or at least unwanted and out of place. Like someone throwing their smelly socks in your face. Ewww...what if they threw their undergarments at you while you were singing and it stuck to your face?
