I have no Idea why you would want to mix Rap + Country.
I like Country because it isnt Rap!The Lyrical content, etc
I can relate to alot of the songs,i cant relate to rap lyrics.

Yup on this, I'll agree with you. I can relate to some rap, but I want my rap when I'm in the mood for it, but I want my country - country.
And surely that is what you get?? I want my Rock/ Folk/Jazz/Raggae the way I want it..I make sure I get it by buying and listening to what I want..Not by blaming someone else for not doing it the way I want them to.........

I remember when it was refered to as C&W music. I love western music or Western Swing or just plain ole cowboy music. Sons of the Pioneers, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, Marty Robbins, Sons of the San Joaquin, Don Edwards.
There are lots of them out there singing you just have look for them.
One of my favorites is Don Edwards.
I think the "western" part got dropped after Western music became less commercially viable and country became more influenced by pop, rock and indie.
In any case country has evolved over the years, these days with more and more pop, rock and indie influence. Some think it's to its detriment especially the folks who favour the more traditional stuff, but I like both.
I still listen to Marty Robbins, but not that much Bob Wills.
Let's have adult converstations. It's okay that we all will not agree with each other
from time to time. It's how we handle this rates our maturity.
