Thanks for reminding me of OG. When I posted before, I was trying to think of some competing east coast gangsta rap from back in the golden age of gangsta. I remember really liking that Ice-T album, but I haven't heard it in years.

I agree with this when it comes to current hip-hop. And back in the day, NWA were as underground as it got.
But, to be fair, I have never even heard of the 2 acts you mentioned.
Anyway, I'm not really into gangsta rap. The NWA and Ice Cube albums I mentioned are important to me 'cuz they are rap classics - they just happen to be "gangsta".

I have to go with Doggystyle...........Chronic.........Dogg Food

Favorite un-released gangsta rap album:

Tha Eastsidaz - Gangbang Music........I have this album...unfinished...it's a shame the group broke up. This album is a classic 99% of the world will NEVER hear. It is sooo hard.

Welcome to the Entertainment forum.

If you aren't interested in a particular topic, please don't spoil a thead by posting responses to it that are not useful or pertinent, or that hijack the topic.

For example, if the topic is Favorite Country Music Performers, it's not useful or pertinent to merely post "I hate county music." If the topic is Lindsey Lohan's latest escapade, it's not useful or pertinent to post "Anyone who is interested in Lindsey Lohan's life is pathetic." Posts like these contribute nothing to the discussion, and often are the beginning of off-topic arguing. They will be deleted. You are welcome to start your own threads (ex. "Why I hate country music"), but don't hijack other people's threads
