Stuck in my head is a song I never liked, but it got a lot of airtime in it's day, so in my head it resides- "Alone Again, Naturally" by Gilbert O'Sullivan.

Every time I see video footage of him performing that song, I want to leap through the screen and punch him in the crotchal region. I have no real explanation as to why.

Well, I don't have kids, and I don't make a habit out of listening to children's albums either, but for some reason "Bananaphone" by Raffi, will pop into my head and get stuck there for days.

"Operator get me Beijing...jing, jing, jing...bananaphone"

"Born Cross-Eyed" by the Grateful Dead. It's funny, I haven't listened to the Grateful Dead since high school.

I am happy to report that there is no weird song stuck in my head at the moment. This, no doubt, will change.

You had to go and do that didn't ya, Linc? I had a nice, clear head - just sailing along. Now this. Dino was such a great entertainer. His foibles in that one are legendary. So I'm off to bed now. We'll see if it sticks! I'll get back to you...

There's this dumb show on LOGO called "Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods," where they're looking for somebody to star in the Broadway show... I heard them sing an awful song called "Oh my god you guys," and it's been stuck in my head ever since. Ugh!!

I also get this kid's song "Shake your sillies out" stuck in my head on Tuesdays, since they sing it at my library's storytime (I'm a librarian) every week. Soooo not letting my future kids listen to that crap, LOL.
