I VERY rarely cry, but a few drinks in watching this, I completely lost it (Zevon was dying from cancer at the time):
This one too. 50% of the tears are the story and song, 50% that horrible hip hop is somehow popular over this:
And if you know that Michael 'Eyedea' Larson passed away, and that this is all his family and friends (including Sadistik), this is a really rough and inspiring one to watch too:
Sick and Disgusting by Beartooth was the only song that has ever made me cry, at least for as long as I can remember. Keep in mind I first heard this song like a few weeks ago. Just listen to it.
I know this is more of a romantic song, but it will always remind me of my little dog who died last year. I picked this album up on vinyl and had been listening to it alot in the weeks leading up to his death (old age)... I didn't realize it until about 6 months later, I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and this song came on the radio. Tears just started streaming, and I knew...And now they always do.
To me, "Moon River" (wider than a mile, I'm crossing you in style, some day) represents the divide between this world and the next, it's about following a loved one into the afterlife. It's just so beautiful.
"Waitin' round the bend, My Huckleberry friend... ♥"
This one with Lena Zavaroni..who died of complications of anorexia .. She was three and a half stones and had struggled since a child with the condition.. A lovely girl with a very powerful voice who mixed with the biggest stars and Royalty but died in a one bedroom council flat penniless...only one friend from showbusiness Bonnie Langford turned up at her funeral... This song from Lena says it all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTmT6rIg7Vohttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/476065.stm
