Early Beatles songs sound like they were written by an 8 year old. "She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah" is not what I would call a insightful lyric.
For that matter, Rocky Raccoon and The Ballad of Bungalow Bill don't sound like they were written by adults either. Awesome songs, but the lyrics are pretty silly.
I'd say anything by Taylor Swift. I know she has a pretty voice and I get that she's "America's sweetheart of the moment," but she just seems very immature for her age. She reminds me of a junior high school girl.
Every pop song on the radio today sounds like it was written by an 8 year old, and the new country was written by a 4 year old who is "challenged".
