I'm not sure how to post videos and I can't from here, but I DO like Metallica's version of "Turn the Page" (original by Bob Seger) and Pearl Jam's version of "Last Kiss" (forget who did the original).
Also if I might add in sometihng that serves as a very fond memory.........
In 1990 my family was in Florida and we stopped to visit my grandmother's best friend (now deceased). The radio was on (she let my brother and I pick a stattion) and David Lee Roth's version of "Just a Giolo" came on and Angie started singning along. My brother and I were shocked, and she told us of course she knew the song, it was from her time and that wasn't the original singer (DLR).
