I always knew Ed was a Willie G. fan and here is proof. The quality stinks and they are believed to have been ripped from the club days. Like.....before they had any money and the "good stuff"! LOL It's still ZZ anyhow!
Awhile back I discovered, somewhat by accident, that some of Wilson Pickett's famous songs were actually covers. Not to discredit the man as in many cases his rendition boosted a song to much greater popularity/height than it had before. (Singing covers was once quite respectable, much of both Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday's work is covers)
Surprised I didn't do the following three as they really are some of my favorites. (At times above I was just going with "interesting covers I like." Still there's a bit of a theme here too)
