Andy Kim was quite the sex symbol in his day, words that weren't applied to very many artists beyond, for example, Tom Jones. I remember what a hit "Rock Me Gently" was.
Boo! this has been remastered! I KNEW it didn't sound right! Shame on them! Maybe I can find a better version~one from the VINYL LP. // Unfortunately, they're all from CDs/remastered recordings, without a single "true" sound, just the tinny-sounding CD version. *sigh*

I don't know...that song got pretty high up a lot of charts back in the day, so you had quite a bit of company at one time. Michelle Wright does a version of it too. She's also Canadian. Maybe it's some sort of weird north-of-the-border kind of thing.
