Bohren & der Club of Gore - Constant fear and M.Rostropovich - Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No.1 in E flat major
Thank You Mods for removing that page...It allowed Me to rant and probably saved My Academic and Professional Career. I LOVE You!
Special thanks to everyone on the prior page especially Lady Artemis whose music set the stage for My brain to stop in it's tracks and re-engage from a different prespective. Also Ms. Gerania whose comments literally opened Me to another point of view. To Rambler, that reminded Me that this is a team and to remain one and finally Ms. Saucy who spark the final linkup to retrieve deleted files giving confirmation to My idea about this as well...
(Dmitri Shostakovich composed this to be played by his dear friend famous cellist Mstislav Rostropovich who had it memorized in four days! The first movement is one of the most difficult to do on cellist and his friend did it! 4 DAYS!!! It premiered October 4, 1959 at the Leningrad Conservatory.)
There are better recordings but I wanted to see this man at work.
Conductor: Charles Groves with the London Symphony Orchestra
