Still no. Thanks for all the help, though. This last one was a really good guess. perfect use of horns at the end, but sadly not the right one. Well, its getting late here in PA, USA. Night, all!
Zach - you could help us out by letting us in on the radio format you're listening to when you hear the tail end of this song. If it isn't classic rock, then it's probably not the Stones. That's about the only kind of station that's going to play them frequently.
What station or sat. channel do you listen to? Maybe they put out a play list.
You might want to check Mick Jagger's solo work - here are a couple that might spur some inkling of memory. You'll find songs under his name and also the sound track to Alfie - I can't post all of them. He also did collaborations with David Bowie, Dave Stewart, Lenny Kravitz and others. I know these probably aren't the songs but go into you tube and just type Mick Jagger and see what comes up. Also try Mick Jagger Alfie Soundtrack for some others. There is also a sax solo in Brown Sugar.
I'm really sorry, cause I dont think this kind of thread belongs here. (but once I get an answer, you guys can delete it) There is a really good rolling stones song that I keep hearing, but dont know the name. Unfortunately, I dont know any lyrics , but It begins with a well known trumpet or saxophone rift. I wish i could hum it to you, lol, but I cant. its just about 8 notes, but it repeats a few time. If anyone has any idea, please help (sorry I couldn't add more info)
Could you be thinking of this "Dancing in the Street" cover by Mick Jagger and David Bowie?
I know this is pretty obscure, but I've been trying to think of the name of the band w/ the lead singer who sounds like he could be Jim Morrison's long lost son. It's a fairly new band, w/in the last decade. Driving me nuts....
Any ideas? They were/are a pretty popular rock band ....??
- It's an 80s dance-pop song.
- It is sung by a female.
- The song reminds me of something Madonna, Expose, or Samantha Fox would perform.
Chorus lyric "You've left me on my own." is the only lyric that stood out. It has a great dance beat. I believe it is in a minor key.
