My favorite Ozark Mountain Daredevils song is "If You Wanna Get to Heaven" ...
you gotta raise a little hellllllllllllllllll.
A friend of the spouse's just copied a bunch of the Rhino series "Have a Nice Day" for us -- wow! Some stuff I haven't heard in ages, like "Softly Whispering" by the English Congregation, "Woodstock by Matthew Southern Comfort, "I Ain't Got Time Anymore" by Glass Bottle, "Rings" by Cymarron, and "Speak to the Sky" by Rick Springfield ().
Almost died laughing when John Travolta's "Let Her In" came up. Where were his advisers when the idea for him to cut a record first came up? LOL

Well that's 50 favorites-i worked for a small town newspaper, back in that decade as a teenager and wrote the music column and top 10 for each week from Spring 1971-Fall 1975. I like other songs from the decade-but eclectic in my tastes i learned to be since the paper's owner wanted everyone in community happy, this included country tunes as well-no offense, but have forgotten most of these.
