Well did you go???? Did ya did ya?

Whataya think of Debbie Harry? She never aged huh.

Todd did a wonderful Rick Ocasik. My favorite was "The Dangerous Type" By the reaction of the crowd I think I was not alone with that opinion. I never thought of The Cars as Punk Rock. I always loved their music.

I remember in about 1982 in Madison Square Garden I went to see the Cars. No opening band. All the girls had I assume to be a symbolic cut on their pants leg on one knee. I guess that had something to do with the Punk culture at the time. Some weirdos were there with strange hairdos that looked like they stuck their fingers in a light socket but otherwise was a well behaved audience.

Ah the good old days.............

No "yellow" just Little River Band.

I saw them about 3 years ago. Believe it or not they opened for the Scorpions. I went to see the Scorpions but ended up really liking the Little River Band. I always knew their music but seeing them live just opened a new respect for them.

And oh boy can the Scorpions rock. They were so loud that you can feel the bass in/on your chest. Oh yea, there is nothing like it. Well worth being deaf for a couple days afterwords.

I like a lot of different kinds of music in the 70's - but mostly anything by Zepplin, Bowie, The Who, and Pink Floyd, also Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody, Seasons Of Wither - Aerosmith, Imagine – John Lennon, Kid Charlemagne - Steely Dan, etc. etc.

Technically, Ramble on is a 60s song (1969) but many of us dug it throughout the 70s Interestingly, the main drumming on that one was Bonham improvising with a plastic waste basket.

Who was in the line up ds? It's not LRB to me without the originals.

I'm currently listening to this great 70's track, which was a favorite back in the day.
