I remember as a kid back in the 70's listening to the A.M. Radio Stations with the 70's Top 40 songs as most were those Hippie songs. I'm thing like Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon and Carol King or Cat Stevens, Jim Croce or 10cc etc...as alot were ''one hit wonders'' back then.
I liked alot of them but Nicolette Larson had a good one.
I don't know what's classified as hippie music. I listen to a lot of 70's music. I haven't liked much of the music that's been released since about 1986. Since grunge and rap became mainstream music, I've looked back in time for my music selections. I also listen to 80's music. I'm not sure what year certain songs came out. I only know that I seem to be stuck in the 70's & 80's when it comes to my music preferences.

I'm a big fan of those 1970s hippie songs, I consider the 1970s to be the best decade for music, alot of the songs were relaxing and easy to listen to.
