MusicFreak-That was hilarious! I can't remember the last time I heard that song. Although, I still have my 45 somewhere. I repped you for that one, but I don't know how to comment with the rep. I also don't know how to insert links, so if you want to see another funny one, go to YouTube and watch One Toke Over the Line by Brewer and Shipley. Then, watch One Toke Over the Line from The Lawrence Welk Show. They said it was a gospel song.

"One Toke Over The Line" was a Top 10 hit in 1971, and was largely responsible for introducing Brewer & Shipley to the masses. While it is a wonderful and uplifting song, 'One Toke' landed Brewer & Shipley on Nixon's Enemies List and was banned by the FCC. But that didn't stop Lawrence Welk from featuring 'One Toke Over The Line' on his show. Several artists recorded the song in 1971, apparently thinking it was a gospel song. Check out these stories and even a video of the legendary Lawrence Welk cover. As Michael & Tom like to say, you couldn't make this stuff up."

Thanks again MusicFreak! I just figured out how to insert a link. It didn't work the first time, but it did the second. Here is another one without the long speaking intro.
I didn't realize I slipped a 1959 song into the I Love 70's Music thread. I'm pretty sure this original is the version I heard when I lived in Omaha from 1970-1974. I must have been listening to some crazy radio station. I don't think it was the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's 70's covers.
