American Beauty. I like Kevin Spacy, but this movie was awful, IMO. Not just boring (although it was that as well), but I didn't like ANY of the characters nor found ANY of them sympathetic.

I remember thinking well, that was tough to stay awake for and what a bunch of awful people to have spent 2 hours with.

Sideways. I can't believe the raves about that movie.

Like I said in the other thread, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. What a joke that movie was awful. I mean 13 nominations? Really?

the name of the movie alone is ridiculous. "The Curious Case???" of a guy who is born as an old man and ages into an infant? that's a little curious, is it? i think "The Totally ****ed Up Case of Benjamin Button" would have been more appropriate.

lol.

None came to mind immediately but some of the movies you've already mentioned I strongly agree with:

The Sixth Sense. - I thought it was totally lame.
American Beauty. - I was expecting so much more...
Crash. - No way can this movie be better than Brokeback Mountain...

That movie is incredibly dull, but then I don't really like the literary saga either so I wasn't expecting much...
