I thought the movies "Doubt" or "Gran Torino" should have beaten "The Reader" or "Milk" in any "best" catagories. (Merle Streep and Clint Eastwood were both flawless in these pictures).

I agree that "Crash" was over rated for best pic.

Heat should have been nominated AND should have won, IMHO.

69th Academy Awards Best Picture
The English Patient (won)
Fargo
Jerry Maguire
Secrets and Lies
Shine

Fargo should have won, IMHO.

72nd Academy Awards Best Picture
American Beauty (won)
The Cider House Rules
The Green Mile
The Insider
The Sixth Sense

Three Kings should have been nominated, IMHO.

I absolutely agree with this... The Departed shouldn't have won... This movie is horrible... I cannot understand how the hel did it won the screenplay Oscar??? There's only the ''f'' word in this... what a shame!!! And also, what did Mark Walhberg did in this movie so great to have a Best suporting actor nomination??? All what he was doing in this movie is saying the ''f'' word and get mad akl the time!!! Academy smoke realy hard this year!

I think thak Rocky Balboa should have been nominated and should have won... This movie has a message, has emotion... it has a lot of things that The Departed don't have at all!

I think that Casino should have won Best Picture or at least be nominated in 1995, Goodfellas or Godfather Part.3 in 1991 and Gangs of New York in 2002 instead Chicago that is a real s**t!

Oh NO!!! At this I don't agree at all... Forrest Gump was the Best movie that year... Pulp Fiction was close... But Forrest Gump deserved it a lot!!!

Braveheart was way better than any movie in 1995. And Saving Private Ryan should of won, and the Pianist, and Into the Wild should of at least been nominated. Little Miss Sunshine and Letters From Iwo Jima should of destroyed the Departed.

Children of Men AND Pan’s Labyrinth should have both been nominated, IMHO.
Yes either one of those vs. Little Miss Sunshine which was good no doubt but not nomination material in that lineup

I don't know Three Kings (a different post) but American Beauty was amazing.
