Planet Patrol (Video 1999) - IMDb

Picked it up as part of a collection in the bargain bin and ....... we-ll......................

I went into the flick thinking it was somewhere between "Space Academy" and "Mission Genesis" but actually, it's below "Space Academy". Maybe somewhere down around "Power Rangers".

Oh, it has it's high points, a leading actor who looks like Billy Zane, a supporting actress who looks like 1st season Buffy, slight guess work to who is who and a nice assortment of Japanese era big monsters.

But after watching it, I'd rather think that "PG-13" was quite a compliment and I'm thinking an episode of "Ultraman" is in order.
