Of course, Soderberg's film was 2002, not 1999
I didn't know about 1968 version, now I look Wiki - thats TV performance!
shall try to look, I hope will be not so boringly and more close to the book.
Thanks for recommendations!
Volunteers - Pretty decent, though not as good as I was hoping considering the cast. Trapped in Paradise - Good movie. Lovitz was great. Carvey, was really dumb. Cage was pretty good. Throw Mama from the Train - 1st time I had seen this and it was about what I figured. Not terrible by any stretch, but overall not really very good.
I watched "Magnolia" by myself, and didn't care for it so much. 3 hours was pretty ridiculous and I was hoping it was because it was really good. Some of the characters were interesting and kept my interest, but overall I couldn't recommend it to anyone. Raining frogs was something I totally wasn't expecting either, yet it really did nothing to advance the story, so I was left a little baffled by that.
The Villian 1979 Handsome Stranger has agreed to escort Charming Jones to collect her inheritance from her father. But Avery Simpson wants the money, and hires notorious outlaw Cactus Jack to ambush Charming. However, Cactus Jack is not very good at robbing people.
Yeah....I didn't finish this one lol
I like that movie.
It is certainly cheesy, but it plays out like a Road Runner cartoon (which I like).
Plus it is kind of neat seeing Kirk Douglass playing such an absurd role.
