Just watched on Netflix 'The Dark Valley', 2014. Set in the Alps, a quintessential western, thus about justification. This movie should have been (if not) the best foreign film of 2014. It does have several Euro 'Best' awards.

Official submission of Austria to the best foreign language film category of the 87th Academy Awards 2015.
Officially in German language, dubbed in English and/or with English sub titles. Spectacular scenery, good pace. And as that great western, I kept expecting to see Clint Eastwood pop out of the snow bank. The lead character's name is Greider... 'pale rider'.
Alert: at 1 hour I experienced a glitch in the display of solid colors or lines, changing every second or two. I rebooted the Roku but no help. I soon figured out that I could fast forward a frame or two then resume normal play. Happened again near the end, same resolution. Just takes quick thumb action. I have reported this to Netflix.
I enthusiastically recommend this for the fan of foreign films, westerns, dubbed voice or German, and/or subtitles. Or just good film.
