Citizen X -- I wasn't crazy about the fake Russian accents, but the story and acting were compelling.

Character -- This film, told in flashbacks and peopled by unlikable characters, required more of an investment of time and attention than I could give it. I might try it again sometime.

Last night I watched "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince". It was better than expected.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, weakest entry in the film series so far. Yes, I am a book purist.

And I agree that, though I enjoyed the film, I thought they did a very poor job with some things. (I saw it Wednesday night.)

I just watched "Tropic Thunder" with Ben Stiller last night. Even though I have enjoyed some of Ben's other movies, this one is definitely his worst IMO. There were maybe two or three scenes that made me chuckle (slightly). Tom Cruise's cameo was about the only interesting thing in it. Overall, it was incredibly boring.

The Proposal. Now I know you're supposed to suspend belief when watching movies, but the situations in this movie are ridiculously, totally, absolutely impossible.
